The Darkhours Episode XXI: My Bloody Valentine
I pondered for awhile about what this show should be about besides it's usual dark debauchery... And then I was reminded that Valentine's Day approacheth. So just how would the Darkhours celebrate "love day"? Why with darkness, lust, kink and anything one's black heart desires, or course! Consider this the Anti-Valentines show. This will be our day of swine and black roses. Remember, there are always uses for those thorns. Exactly how this will play out is always a mystery even to me, but you have to admit, we've been having fun, right?
Do NOT expect this to be a show full of nothing but cheesy love songs. If anything, we only play the SEXIEST songs of darkness.
So join me tonight at 11pm EST, curl up with your favourite warm or cold body... Break out some restraints and some sexy leather gear and get ready for one helluva wild ride.
If you're not in the throws of extacy or tied to your bed, then I expect you to be inthe chatroom with us.
Grey’s Garage: Going For The Record

Join me as we try to shatter the old record and maybe set a new station one!

The Bag Bag with a Cause
I remember being 10 years old like it was yesterday (because it pretty much was *chuckle*) At that age I was too young to get a job and my only source of extra income was celebrating a birthday and then trying to make those birthday dollars stretch the whole year through. I also had to walk fifteen miles in the snow uphill both ways to school…wait…wrong story. Anyway, being 10 and broke sucked and now I realize I should have been a little more industrious so I could have afforded more Pogs and Ring Pops. I should have been more like my new buddy Georges…
Georges, who happens to be the kiddlin’ of one of my fave bloggers Wende, and who also happens to be 10 years old has gone into business for himself! He wanted to learn how to use the sewing machine so his mom sat down and taught him. He soon found out he really likes sewing and now he’s opened up shop and will be hand making totally awesome one of a kind Bag Bags! These are the nifty little bags you hang in your kitchen to hold all your plastic bags with a little hole down at the bottom for dispensing the bags one at a time…I LOVE these things!

The deal is: He’s selling each homemade Bag Bag for $10 (+$2s/h) but it gets better! Not only is this kid a sewing machine tycoon but he’s also a philanthropist to boot! For every Bag Bag he sells he’s setting aside $1 of his profit to donate to Heifer International
I checked out the Heifer International website and he needs to sell 20 of his Bag Bags in order to meet his donation goal of one flock of chicks, I know for sure I’ll be buying a Bag Bag today so if only 19 more people would pick one up he will have reached his goal (and I know there are at least 19 of y’all reading this who could easily part with $12)! Hell, I can easily sacrifice my Starbucks for a couple days this month for such a cute cause!
To get one of his wicked cool Bag Bags you simply need to click here and then leave a comment on that post saying you’d like to order a Bag Bag and Georges will get back to you via email with further instructions!
I admire this guy’s spunk, I won’t go near a sewing machine because I know my hand would quickly become part of the project. So, if you would also be so cool as to spread the word on your blog about this and link to Georges and his project I’d be much obliged to ya and I’m sure he’s appreciate the support as well

Now hustle up and go buy a Bag Bag you’ll be doing a good thing and keeping your plastic bags in order!!

The “Holy Crap, Kittyn’s Quitting Smoking” Show
I wasn't totally sure I wanted to do a show tonight. It's a bad anniversary for me and my head is firmly planted up my ass with theHowever, the show goes on. We dedicate this show to quitting smoking and Claudie. I can't promise it's going to be good, I may end up talking too much but come and join me as I give up a habit I've had longer than Bug's been alive.
We'll also talk about other stuff besides my bad addictions. We have American Idol/Mojo Idol for the first hour and expect talk of intelligent women in diapers with steel mallets along with the usual bits of Everest trivia and whatever else comes to mind.
I'll take a few requests but tonight's show is my show. Tonight's show is my warm-up to that last cigarette. I'll be playing the songs that inspire and empower me. Music has always been an important part of defining my life and myself, tonight's songs will be the ones I'll be turning to when I have a weak moment or when I need to be inspired to keep going.
Tonight's show is my own personal support group and those of you who come by the chat room will be there to cheer me on and tell me I can do this. A cyber pat on the head and a cookie for a nicotine addict.
Smokers are welcomed as always, I have no intention of becoming a born-again-non-smoker. This is my decision for me and for my own reasons and I don't plan on pushing my agenda on anyone else. The support of my smoker friends counts just as much as my non-smoker friends so come on by and say hey.
Tune in tonight at 9:00PM EST for Idol talk during commercials and 10:00PM EST for the real show. Bring your stories of how you quit smoking and I'll read them on the air.
Be a part of the Kittyn Support Group tonight on Mojo Radio Live!

Rustic Measure, Vol. 2
What happens when you forget that your next upcoming show is preceding Valentine's Day? You end up recording a show that has nothing to do with it ... realizing it... and going, "Golly gee, do I let it go or record a dedicated show?" Ponders to no end.So you see the dilemna. My foible is your benefit. An extra edition of Rustic Measure Tonight, following the Deathsquad Show, from 11:00pm until Midnight.
The theme of tonight's show (I actually came up with one!) is something I like to call "What's in a name?". Songs dedicated to a person or entity.
The Deathsquad Show, Volume 19
Tonight on the Deathsquad Show, come here me rant about the DMCA and declare them the Douche Bag of the week for sening threatening e-mails to innocent people, then during Deathsquad News we discuss the retardation of what was the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Boston Terrorist Scare last week, learn how authority figures brought the entire city of Boston to a lockdown over a Lite Brite. And of course music and more.
