Well hi there. Yes, there is a show tonight. I've been kind of sick all day and I'm feeling those toxins so I expect a particularly silly and crazy show but who knows, it could totally suck. The usual mix of music, ranting, opinions no one agrees with and music no one's heard of! No wine tonight, I already feel like I drank a gallon but we'll still have Mama Prude and my vulgar mouth so who needs wine to kick back and have fun.Don't forget to go that one extra step and come join us in the chat room as we all know I have problems with a frail psyche and I need to see those people in chat!!

The Darkhours Episode CLXXIV: Happy New Year. “I am FREEZE… learn it well”
Well. It’s 2012 and it looks like I’m the first official show on board for 2012. We’ll talk about how we spent New Years Eve, what we expect from the new year and what need to get done, shall we?
Oddly today is the coldest day of the winter so far and it’s only for one day, which is very odd. Tonight I’ll theme the show about the winter and it’s chill. Along with that, I just found out today that an artist that was a personal acquaintance of mine has passed away. We hung out at Mother’s back in the day. Her stage name was from when I knew her was Mistress Jennifer of the San Francisco punk band turn Manhattan Goth group: “The Nun’s”. I learned quite a bit more fo her since we stopped talking on MSN Messenger from this recently uncovered online obituary. Tonight, in tribute to my old friend, we’ll feature a few songs from the album I spent quite some time acquiring recently. Jennifer ‘Miro’ Anderson, you will be missed.
So look for a St. Louis style send up from an old friend, some fun and frolic in the cold and good tunes for all! Join usin the chatroom and whoop it up and yell “HAPPY NEW YEAR!!” once again!

Fashioning the Paving Stones of the Road to “Hell”
Yes, New Year’s Eve. The resolutions and good intentions of which are destined to break hearts, crush spirits and undermine self confidence for the coming year. Truly an arbitrary day, random to anyone other than forgotten Romans who designed an imperfect calendar to supplant those of the “Barbarians”, like the Celts, whose calendar was far more accurate than even than that which we use today.
Seriously though, it’s a day chosen by genocidal thieves, murderers and pirates whose primary accomplishment was amassing enough power & killing enough people to be considered “Gods & Emperors”.
Therefore, this evening I’ll be making fun of the coming year, dissecting the previous year, and just kvetching enough to echo throughout all the years. Mixed in will be enough good music to keep you rockin’ if you’re getting ready to go out, keep you happy if you’re just getting back in or merely kill a couple of hours if you just don’t give a shit.
I’ll be broadcasting live from Buggery Ol’ Blighty at 11:00pm GMT, which is 6:00pm Eastern/3:00pm Pacific time in the USSA, and which brings in the New Year at Midnight in Western Europe.
KittynHeather will be bringing in the New Year in the US starting at 11:30pm Eastern (which is 4:30am GMT, and may (or may not) be well past my bed time)

The Darkhours Episode CLXXIII: The Final Countdown.
So we’re still in the Holidays. Christmas, Yule, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa...and now New Years Eve is just about upon us. This should be the last solo show of the Darkhours for 2011 so let’s break out the bubbly and have at it, shall we? Let’s lick our wounds and prepare for something even bigger. Besides, According to the Mayans, this is the last New Years Eve we’ll get! Let’s party like it’s 1999...again.

Together again for the last time in 2011 it's that whacky trio of KittynHeather, Darkstar and Mama Prude one more time. I don't know about any of you but 2011 SUCKED and I can't wait to kick it in the ass out the door. Howlin’, Yowlin’, Lonely, Homely Jól
Tonight, which is a couple of days after Yule, the Winter Solstice, is also Christmas Eve, the fifth day of Hanukkah, and the day before Kwanzaa Eve, among other things, when we celebrate the birth of greed, Coke-a-Cola, Credit Cards and the Death of Fir Trees, Charles Dickens and selfless generosity. Everyone is going slightly, slowly insane, each in their own way, so I’m well aware most people will be too busy to listen to my kvetchy/gripey show tonight… but I will persevere anyway, lol.
I have no patience for imaginary friends living in the sky, but I love Xmas. I don’t believe in God, Jesus, UFOs or the Easter Bunny, but I do believe in Santa Claus, try to wrap your brain around that one.
So tonight I’ll be discussing the holidays & religion, while playing some relevant but awesome music, broadcasting live from Buggery Ol’ Blighty.
