Deathsquad on Haitus

The Deathsquad Show will be on hiatus for the moment, hopefully its just for this week but here's the skinny. Decided it was time to upgrade to a smartphone, got a Samsung Epic 4G while also switching to Sprint. I have been an AT&T user for almost 5 years now, but to get a smartphone with AT&T, you end up signing for a data plan that equates to $45 dollars extra for only 4gb of bandwidth. My cell phone is my internet modem, and limiting it that tightly was not an option. Sadly though, my sprint service sucks (roaming on the verizon network at my house) and my internet is pretty crap with it. Thankfully I will probably be upgrading to Wild Blue DSL Dish service, but it could be anywhere from a week to a month. So we'll play it by ear. Cya soon, I hope.
Its grim fun here on the Deathsquad Show, come join us at 10pm EST, only here at KMRL Mojo Radio Live.
Deathsquad Show called due to extreme heat

Yes you can call me a big baby, but when you spent all day mostly in the heat only to come home thinking your studio is going to be nice, dry and in the low 70s temperature wise, only to find out your AC looked around at the hot weather and said "screw this" and promptly killed itself, leaving the studio 93'F with 70% humidity. So I'm just one giant sweat ball. Thankfully I have a spare AC, but its working hard to cool this room down, and sadly trying to dump the water into my wall. So check back next week, hopefully good things will have happened.

The Deathsquad Show
10pm Thursdays (when not hotter than hell)
KMRL Feature Artist: No Fixed Abode

“Joni Mitchell meeting Bruce Springsteen and having a jam after a bottle or two of wine.” The band No Fixed Abode explains their sound with one of the most intriguing descriptions I’ve heard in quite awhile! And they’re right on—the amazingly angelic Irish voice of Una Walsh and the nimble fingers of Tony Dean on guitar have created an album to truly savor.

Their album Clearwater is currently available for purchase at CD Baby for $15.99 and features eleven refined and original tracks that will be well worth the money spent. The both soothing and rolling melodies that the two have produced are a fantastic mixture of melodious sweetness and rich full undertones.

If you want to experience the rejuvenating and flowing music of No Fixed Abode before you purchase the album you can visit their page at CD Baby and preview the entire album! Also, be sure to check out the No Fixed Abode MySpace Page for lots of pictures and more information about how this stunning duo got together to create such beautiful music.

KMRL Mojo Radio Live is so excited to play music from No Fixed Abode in our 24/7/365 KMRL Default Rotation for your listening pleasure. Tune in to KMRL anytime day or night and catch three songs from their album including “Kebab Crazed Nutter”, “Absent Friends”, “School Days”!
