Fat Chick Music Cafe
I'm sure some of you have been wondering what's gone on this week that I've not been able to run my normal show from 11-1PM.Let me catch you up to speed.
Carly, my daughter, has moved back in with me. She has been going through some heavy duty stuff emotionally which is both a
good thing and a bad thing. Monday she got sent home from school for her Halloween costume. Tuesday it was a battle royale to
get her to go to school for an hour and a half when I woke up and found her still sound asleep. Wednesday, today, she was up,
ready, and even ate breakfast ready to rock and roll, however, she had a half hour to wait before the bus. She sat down and didn't
wake back up until just before my alarm went off to get the show going. This all taking place after she relapsed this weekend.
Second, I was also called to rescue some friends of mine whose linkage on their stick shift car went out. It's an "easy" fix if you've
done it before so I went. I realized I didn't have my tools with me and had to go back home to get them.
All of this sounds like I'm not appreciative of your valuable time that you spend with me. I truly am. I'm grateful to see each and
every one of you as I broadcast over the noon hour. Tomorrow, on what would be my fourth anniversary, I get to go look for housing
for my children and myself. I have no income to speak of, can't seem to even get a dang fast food job either. I'm not pleased with
how things are right now, but I will get through this. Next week I have appointments on Tuesday to get medical care for Carly and
to renew Matt's. I get to go to court on Wednesday for Matt's charges.
I apologize for not spilling my guts sooner. It's just been very frantic in my world. The one place I know I can relax and enjoy what
I do is broadcasting for you. I hope you'll forgive my error of not keeping you better informed. I feel as if I don't know what's going on
most of the time. I wish someone would have told me that being an adult doesn't mean you know everything, it just means you have
more options if you search hard enough.

Suicidal Teens and Unmarked Appointments
Yesterday was an emotional roller-coaster with high concern for a lovely young lady's mental health. She is okay and under close supervision until she can startintensive outpatient, but it's been so hard to see her crumbling. Today I have an appointment to pick up my son that was supposed to be yesterday and
supposed to be only if his school work improved, but they moved that to today. I'll put on music for you, but the chatter will be minimal. Let me know when this
week comes to an end, would you? Thanks.
