No Darkhours tonight because…
I have no way to broadcast because:
a) My wired highspeed internet is down.
b) Access to wireless internet is available but I don’t have my backup laptop because…
c) I have to be in @ 7am for an early morning meeting and they’re borrowing my laptop for a video conference and testing it today.
How am I posting this? Aaaah… the wonders of Pocket PC! Simple Windows Mobile...effective but alas, not enough to do radio with.
So there you have it . The world is out to get the Darkhours… they’ll only win this ONCE.
See you next week before I go out of town for Webkittyns birthday!

The Darkhours Episode CXIII: Happy Black ValenPresidentory Month!
For such a short month February has loads of stuff piled in it. Black History Month, then Valentines Day and Presidents Day shared the same weekend… so much to celebrate and have fun with. This past Sunday, I did a special Anti-Valentines show. It was loads of fun, so we may have to touch on that again, along with some sprinklings of hard rock by black artists for Black History month and then some of the usual fun!
What the hell.... it’s free, right? Why not give it a shot if you’re new to internet radio.

DJ Darkstar presents: The Dark Tunnel: An Anti Valentines Show.
Aaaah.. the last minute plans. I haz one! I will do a special Valentine’s night show starting at 10pm til Midnight
It’s like this: I can’t go out so if I’m gonna stay in, I’m going to do a show for Valentine’s day. It will be sexy and groovy, hot and steamy and irreverent to love day. Oh Hell! WHo am I kidding? I have no idea what it will be like. It won’t be a Tunnel because I’ll stop and talk on occasion, but it won’t be a Darkhours because it will have varying genre’s in music. I do know that it will feature a block or two of “The Sexiest Songs of Darkness” .
So if you have a lover, curl up and listen, if you don’t then let’s have an Anti-Valentine’s bash and party like gigolo’s and strippers and celebrate hedonism!

The Darkhours Episode CXII: SNOWBOUND edition
We interrupt our regularly scheduled Black Rockers History Month to bring you a very special Darkhours. The eastern seaboard of the United States has been hit with a major blizzard. This means loads of people trapped in their houses with nothing better to do but listen to the Darkhours! All television is on midseason break as the Winter Olympics are about to take over the airwaves. Some TV shows have already played Season finales… so snuggle in and listen to something winter appropriate or heat up with some hot alternative mixes and set yourself on fire by shakin’ your moneymaker!

The Darkhours Episode CXI: Dark History Month begins.
Oh wait… is it “Black History Month?” Well I confuse terms… “Black”..."Dark".. what’s the difference. This is the month where we mix it up with a few tunes from some great African American or just plain black rock bands from music history, mix that in with some cool alternative tunes, some metal and industrial, throw in some classic rock, sprinkled with some dark salty humor and peppered with some general fun and you’ve got a huge Hero Sandwich of awesome internet radio. At least that’s how these theme shows start… then I go skewing off on a different path in general. Either way, it’s always fun. I’d just suggest on being there.
