You’ve got all kinds of political factions and ideologies running around these days like chickens without heads, quite a few of whom seem to love bandying about the word sheeple and telling people to wake up. They all see various threats that must be faced “BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE”, and normally that would be quite reasonable as we are facing threats to not only our way of life, but our very lives themselves and even the planet we live on.
Then there are others who seem to scream the loudest about the immanent dangers facing us, claiming to be the only ones awake enough to be alarmed about threats that include immigrants, fluoride, ’Muslamic Ray Guns‘, the Illuminati/Zionists/Rothschilds, etc., etc., etc… They’re the ones who can’t even seem to do the basic research necessary to determine how full of shit the crap they’re spouting is. They are told a fact or figure, no matter how ridiculous, that fits with their prejudices and they don’t even bother to check it out. They just start shouting it from the highest mountain with righteous indignation.
Don’t forget, these are some of the same people who actually deny the real threats we face, claiming that global warming is fake among other things. Are they that stupid, too lazy to even question anything or are they the ones who are actually asleep, determined to convince everyone else to drop off as well and share the same dream? Obviously they are puppets being used by unscrupulous people and corporations who wish to gain power or money, but why do they let themselves get used in this way?
