Deathsquad 68 - The Summer of George Continues
Someone kill me please, it just dawned on me that ‘Summer of George’ is taken from the Seinfeld show in a certain episode character George gets laid off from his job with pay, and he plans on living it up during the summer and ends up crippling himself. Seinfeld isn’t a bad show, I see why it was very popular but for christ sakes Fox5 please schedule something else in its place. The 7:30 slot had always changed from year to year, Simpsons always at 7:00pm but that 7:30 slot use to switch every few years, Fraiser and other shows. Then you got your hands on Seinfeld and have played it ever since, to the point that even my Mother who loves the show won’t watch it. At this point I’d take 3rd Rock from the Sun which wasn’t all that bad of a show when you got watching it, same level as That 70s Show which I also wouldn’t mind.
Anyways, the Squad is on tonight, same deal as previous shows, 1 hour of me, and 1 hour to the man George Carlin with his special tonight ‘Jammin In New York’ from 1992. So tune in at 10pm Eastern Standard for some good old fashion Tuesday fun.
