Exit 34 Has Taken a Detour….
July seems to be the month of “holiday” for Americans. Momma Bug, in keeping with the American tradtion, has hit the road..or will in about 45 minutes! 
I am taking my parents onto a road trip. First stop, Jerome, Arizona, a living ghost town. (That is an oxymoron if I ever seen one!)
From there we will board the Verde Canyon Railroad for a 4 hour train ride through the beauty of the Verde Valley.~~Verde~ ~in Spanish means green. We are expereincing the beginnings of the monsoon season, so I anticipate a very green valley as only Arizona can produce. From there we will go as the nose of the car points....a vacation habit introduced to us by my father.
I will return next Thursday. I shall jump on prior to Thursday to make up for lost time. Thank you all for understanding the importance of tending to my parents. I know this is the time to make the most of their presence on this physical plane. Wish me Godspeed and pray for traveling mercies. Take care; stay healthy.
