KMRL Beg-a-Thon Begins in 13.5 Hours! Sat. 9AM EST - Sunday 9AM EST - Addition: Haitian Relief

Are you getting excited? We're excited. Can you feel it? I said, CAN YOU FEEL IT????

The KMRL PoorBastards Beg-a-Thon begins in 13.5 hours, at 9AM EST Saturday morning! We're close! We're getting pumped and we're getting ready to bring you 24 hours of live entertainment that you will laugh at, gigglesnort at and just generally enjoy!

All funds donated to KMRL will be going directly into cost. We have to repair the machine that will allow us to run the uber-program that will let you have a ginormous default rotation, the ability to make requests off of the default rotation and live CBS news streaming at the top of the hour! All further donations will be kept in account for future monthly payments to Live365 and maybe even opening the KMRL store again!

However. As we go into this beg-a-thon from our warm and safe homes, it is impossible to not acknowledge the horror, sadness and tragedy that is being endured by the Haitian people. To ask you to give us money when these poor souls are the ones truly in need almost makes us feel dirty.

We have decided to donate a portion of each donation we receive to one of the genuine Haitian relief funds working so hard to help those so desperately in need. It will work like this:

For every donation between $5 and $20 - One dollar will be donated
For every donation between $21 and $50 - Two dollars will be donated
For every donation over $51, 10% will be donated.

At the end of the Beg-a-thon, we will add it all up and make the donation and we will publish the receipt so people can see we meant what we said.

How often do you get to do some serious good for people in need AND help your friendly internet radio station in need for the cost of a trip to McDonald's? You can do it, give up that number 6 and that latte and get some good karma.

We have some great thing planned for you so even if you don't have any doubloons to toss our way, feel free to join the fun anyway. It's there for everyone! Here are some of the highlights:

**Special Guest Mistress Leslie Savage will be with Darkstar! Check for a preview of '60 Minutes of PMS' and Ms. Savage at her finest!**
**Check for different Skype guests on Darkstar's show and anyone else who has figured Skype out!
**Three VIP memberships and a $25 Amazon gift card will be give away!
**Mama Prude will be joining Kittyn in the wee hours!
**DJs will sing for donations, make wookie noises, read from books, whatever it takes!
**Waterdeep players, you may get special perks, you never know!

The chatroom will be running the entire 24 hours so please, come on by even if it's only to show your support. It's our first time back on the air since early December so all are welcome, there is no requirement to donate to enjoy the fun. However, it would be nice...

Sat. 9AM - 1PM - TreemanX opens us up with classic rock and blues
Sat. 1PM - 3PM - Kittyn's softer side as she keeps it PG-13 for the afternoon!
Sat. 3PM - 5PM - Deathsquad's Comedy Show. Laugh clown, laugh!
Sat. 5PM - 7PM - Ravennacht brings us the best of contemporary fun country music!
Sat. 7PM - 10PM - Classic Deathsquad Live
Sat. 10PM - Sun 3AM - Darkstar bringing down the moon and rocking the night
Sun. 3AM - 9AM - Kittyn bringing up the anchor, no more PG 13!
