Life Goes On
Today we've remembered with the wounded heart of a country's tragedy, the lives lost 10 years ago. Not a single person will ever forget where they were or what they were doing when the first plane hit. I rallied to the Red Cross blood bank and ended up getting pizza places to donate pizza to the people waiting in line to give blood. The panic hung in the air like Christmas decorations in July; out of place, not sure why it's there. I've not forgotten the horror. I've not forgotten the explosions. I've not forgotten FDNY and the men and women in blue. I didn't know anyone in the towers, but their families did. The nation knows their names, but not how Mark snorted when he laughed or Diane had allergies to latex (fictitious). The Mariety Show, tonight, will not be a tribute show. It will be business as usual. I hope to see you honoring the families of the remaining loved ones
by joining me in CHAT and listening to KMRL this evening starting at 8PM EDT.
