Madness, Misery, Rage and Rememberence
Today is the 22nd day of October, which isn't one of my favorite days of the year, and I'm absolutely flummoxed as to what I'll be doing the show about tonight. Zephyr died seven years ago today, and unless you met him you probably can't fathom what that means to me.On one level I don't quite have the luxury of honesty, while on others I can be brutally and viciously truthful (someone once told me that my trait of absolute honesty was a weapon that I use to attack people, which, if true, has failed me because dishonesty in those closest to me never fails to surprise and wound me).
Soooo... I'm putting together music for tonight's show, and most of it so far is very angry or very sad - I'm up to about three hours of music (which I'll have to cut down to below two hours) and still adding. I've got some Feist in there, Anne Clarke, Johnny Cash, Joy Division, NIN, CCR and Switchblade Symphony to just name a few. I'm taking nominations for the angriest song and the saddest song ever, which I'll also play (feel free to comment here or contact me to let me which song you'd vote for).
