Pumpkin pie, laundry, and the daily grind
I am carving pie pumpkins to make pumpkin seeds and from scratch holiday pies. Today is yet another laundry day, so I am hard at work there as well. It is all about holiday preparation. Don't worry, though. There will be no sickening Christmas music playing constantly in the parlor. I will let the department stores at the mall take care of that. Besides, Turkey Day does not get the respect it deserves. It seems to be the forgotten holiday that somehow everyone STILL manages to celebrate between Halloween and Christmas. Everyone gets equal respect in the parlor and so does every holiday. Who doesn't enjoy a fabulous turkey dinner? Not to mention the triptofan afterglow. Come to the parlor, sit down, have some spiced tea and see what the cats, the family, and I have in store for you on Lady Faith's Parlor.
