Seeing Green!
Spring is right around the corner here at KMRL and all sorts of good mojo has been slowly making it's way to all of us here at the station! Our Station Manager and Owner Extraordinaire WebKittyn is making a good recovery after her serious bout with illness and we're ever so happy to have her back around the halls of Mojo! Thank you to everyone who kept her in your thoughts and prayers.One of our favorite KMRL shows is slated for a return in March! The Bears Garage hosted by the awesome Bear will be coming off hiatus and back on air! Catch him live, every Sunday night from 8:00PM - 10:00PM EST! You can check out his full show description here!
Mojo Radio is proud to be a community conscious station that participates in massive fundraising efforts (like Blogathon) to help on a global basis. So, you can be sure we were very stoked to find out about another way we can help out the ol' world! On March 29th, 2008 a worldwide movement called Earth Hour will be taking place to help bring awareness to that dirty bastard Global Warming.
For one hour starting at 8pm your local time citizens, companies and even entire cities all over the world will be shutting off all their power for one hour. The environmental impact of that hour of darkness will be pretty impressive and will provide people with an organized way to help the earth!
