First things first:This is a special TUESDAY EARTHQUAKE EDITION of the Darkhours. There will be no Wednesday show this week. This is a team-up show tonight. It’s me, upstate at Webkittyn Studios with Webkittyn, Momma Prude and myself. You know how weird those shows get. You don’t wanna miss that.
OK. You people on the West Coast of the U.S. must think we’re all just a bunch of Drama Queens, but we’re not used to disaster. This is why we live on the East Coast. The most we deal with is terrorism and King Kong. So I guess when things like this happen we go into some sort of self induced over panic? Why? Probably because we’ve been the target of way too many disaster movie tragedies and a few actual real ones. When you think about it, how many movies about odd events end up focusing on New York, be it King Kong, Cloverfield, Independence Day aliens, hell… they even brought Godzilla to Manhattan. We get destroyed as many times as movie Tokyo.
So come on by and get the New York take on disaster be it movie vs. reality and how we as New Yorkers deal with it. Don’t worry… it’ll be more fun than gloom and doom.
