The Darkhours - Episode LXXXVII: Darkmas Eve to you.
I’ve used “Dark Eve to you” as a common greeting for many years. Now I say “Darkmas Eve to you.”
I don’t expect much. it’s Christmas eve. I don’t expect many listeners in chat, but I’m not one for high expectations. All the Darkhours can offer on this night is a weekly clubhouse we’ve called home for the last 2 years. So...If you’re alone, sitting in a secluded room wrapping gifts, sitting with a loved one (human or pet), facing holiday depression or in need of some cheer or a chuckle, come on by. We’ll be here for you.
Once again, no serious theme, just fun with dark music from all over the various shades of gray to black...maybe some blood red, possibly some bizarre holiday tunes and discussions on all things bizarre, new movies and TV shows like talk of vampires in media like Twilight and Trueblood and more as the Fall/winter movies like Punisher and The Spirit emerge in full force and future January movies like Wolverine. Discussion on the dark world around us, impressions, dark humor and geeky silly banter. All the stuff that makes the Darkhours fun. Join us in chat as usual.
