The Darkhours - Episode XCI: Dark History Month.
OK… February is Black History Month. This means I’ll be infusing some of the black artists that made some of the most awesome alternative music in our time. Allow for some banter and some cool mixes (as you KNOW the mixes get better every week) and you’ll probably have a really good time. Next week will be the Anti-Valentines show with the return of the “Sexiest Songs of Darkness” theme. The month is coming along nicely, theme-wise. Come by for a bit of fun, will ya?
We may do “Call in” where you’ll be able to have your voice heard on the air and be interviewed by DJ Darkstar. All you need is a headset and a Skype, Yahoo or ooVoo account.
Once again, no serious theme, just fun with dark music from all over the various shades of gray to black...maybe some blood red, discussions on all things bizarre, talk of obscure movies to rent and new movies and tv shows, surviving Trueblood withdrawal and more as the winter movies like Taken, Underworld:Rise of the Lycans , Friday the 13th, GI Joe, Transformers 2 and Wolverine get released or closer to release. Discussion on the dark world around us, impressions, dark humor and geeky silly banter. All the stuff that makes the Darkhours fun. Join us in chat as usual.
