The Eve Before the Day before All Hallows Eve
Back in NYC Halloween was just a good excuse to really go all out on my outfits, ‘cause let’s be honest, my attire was pretty wild on a daily basis.
I always loved Halloween though - it was the one time of the year I could get really cool decor for the rest of the year, and I stocked up for my shows in the post-Halloween sales. However now I’m in Blighty, and from what I’ve seen they don’t seem to put as much effort into it - they’re busy preparing for Bonfire Day, 5 November, when they celebrate burning Catholics at the stake (but more on that next week).
So for tonight’s show I’ll be playing a bit of ‘Halloweenish’ music, as well as some Goth, Metal, Oldies, and… whatever the hell suits my mood. In between I’ll be discussing religion, spirituality and other bull shit humans use to comfort themselves when facing the long dark night alone…
I’ll be broadcasting live from Buggery Ol’ Blighty at 6pm Eastern time in the USA, which is 11pm in the UK and midnight in Western Europe.
Tune in to KMRL Mojo Radio Live where ever in the world you happen to be (just click the words KMRL… etc. to the left, or go to mojoradiolive.com) and while you’re at it come into the chat room and let me know what you think.
