Gimp's Gripes - Friday 8PM-9PM EST

Hi there! I'm sixteen years old, and I love all things gimpy. I adore looking at disabled blogs, and have actually stayed up until 6 in the morning reading those things.

What makes me a crip? I've mild Cerebral Palsy, glaucoma (with some optic nerve damage), cataracts, and a nerve injury. I also have a powerchair which I enjoy zooming down the hall chasing kids that jumped over me. Smile. Over all, I like the disability community, and I can't stand that inspirational crap sellout cripples.

Turn ons: Accessibility, When my screen reader actually reads links, valid code, blogs, powerchairs, independent living.
Turn offs: Disablism, People who think the disabled "suffer" all the time, people who don't support vision regeneration, people whose life goal is to fix cripples, potheads who support medical marijuana for selfish reasons, pity, Jerry Lewis, the word "ain't", institutions, nursing homes.
