02/21/2008 - Seeing Green Spring is right around the corner here at KMRL and all sorts of good mojo has been slowly making it's way to all of us here at the station! Our Station Manager and Owner Extraordinaire WebKittyn is making a good recovery after her serious bout with illness and we're ever so happy to have her back around the halls of Mojo! Thank you to everyone who kept her in your thoughts and prayers. One of our favorite KMRL shows is slated for a return in March! The Bears Garage hosted by the awesome Bear will be coming off hiatus and back on air! Catch him live, every Sunday night from 8:00PM - 10:00PM EST! You can check out his full show description here! Mojo Radio is proud to be a community conscious station that participates in massive fundraising efforts (like Blogathon) to help on a global basis. So, you can be sure we were very stoked to find out about another way we can help out the ol' world! On March 29th, 2008 a worldwide movement called Earth Hour will be taking place to help bring awareness to that dirty bastard Global Warming. For one hour starting at 8pm your local time citizens, companies and even entire cities all over the world will be shutting off all their power for one hour. There's been a lot happening around here since the beginning of the year as we broadcast our good radio mojo into 2008! But with the good comes the bad. We all send our heartfelt wishes for quick healing to both WebKittyn and her father who are both fighting their own health related battles right now. We're hoping and praying they both have a speedy and full recovery. The debut of a new show at KMRL has made Thursday nights even more fun! Momma Bug has joined us with her awesome new show called Exit 34! It airs live, every Thursday night from 8PM-9PM EST and you should really check it out! She describes it as "...an eclectic mix of tunes that includes classic jazz, kitschy pop, rock n' roll and more!" You can check out her full show description here and read her talent bio here. Come out and show your support for our newest KMRL DJ! With the new year comes a little tidying of the site: Brand-spankin' new linkback buttons complete with codes for easy snag. Updated show and talent pages with the latest additions. Various copy updates throughout the site. New front page format to keep you up to date on all things Mojo. And finally don't forget that Valentine's Day is just around the corner and the KMRL Gift Shop has some perfect gift ideas for your special someone! 10/26/07 - What the heck?? It's What the Hec! Join us tonight for a new show that promises to be interesting, exciting and thought-provoking! KMRL listner Hecubus has joined the broadcasting crew and will be making his official debut tonight at 10:00PM EST! Hecubus is an opinionated man with a great sense of humour, this should be a totally kickass show! In his own words,"Please allow me to introduce myself. I have many names but you may call me Hecubus. I have strong opinions on social issues, politics and many other topics. Some say that I was born in the wrong era Or is it that I am timeless? Come join me on Friday nights and find out for yourself. I don't bite, much. What harm can a few words or ideas do?" We'll all be in the chat room cheering Hecubus on for his maiden voyage, hope to see you there! We promise this will be a great addition to the KMRL lineup! 10/10/07 - The New October Schedule is On! Time for some changes we think you'll love! Effective today, the station schedule is accurate. The following shows will begin today in their new times: Hear Kitty Kitty Radio - 3PM-5PM EST The Darkhours - 10PM-12AM EST Kittyn Kitsch - 1AM-3AM EST Also, making its groundbreaking debut tonight is The Tunnel, a transitional transcendental hour to take listeners from the Darkhours to the Kitsch. The Tunnel is a no-DJ hour of songs that will change every week and yes, we take requests for the following week's show! There's more to come during October but these are today/tonight's changes.
